Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I feel it is my gift to make others smile. Whether by seeing my various unnatural hair colors, helping them when in need, telling a joke to lighten their mood, or just being there to listen. If my smile can brighten just one soul, I am happy.
Why are you participating?:

To share what has been given to me and to help out an artist who is changing the world.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I sometimes belly laugh when my parents do something silly. That makes them very happy.
Why are you participating?:

I don't really have a choice - my mom thought it would be cute.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
“I am going to learn to make bread tomorrow. So you may imagine me with my sleeves rolled up, mixing flour, milk, [baking soda], etc., with a deal of grace. I advise you if you don't know how to make the staff of life to learn with dispatch.” (Emily Dickinson, American poet 1830-1886) I’ve baked hundreds of loaves of bread for fundraisers, folks who are grieving or celebrating, or to say thank you for someone’s help. Bon appétit!
Why are you participating?:

Because I promised – and I always try to keep my promises (even if it takes a long time).

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Besides volunteering, I love to share my interests with others....It's great to hear what interests others, share in what is fun in other peoples lives...and share what excites you.
Why are you participating?:

I am participating because we need to notice others...we are so technology driven, we no longer know about the people around us. Stop, look around at all the beauty and excitment around us !

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
When I went to Ukraine to visit my birth family, I left all of my possessions for my family of ten (10). Here in the United States, I enjoy conversations with my 97-year old aunt.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
When I'm in a restaurant, I buy breakfast for the singles sitting at the counter. The bigger deed is I share my son with his birth family! They are wonderful people!
Why are you participating?:

Interesting

Valerie

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I love being a volunteer reader at Audio Journal, where we broadcast the readings of daily newspapers and magazines, live on air, for people who are blind, vision-impaired or for anyone who cannot access the printed word.
Why are you participating?:

It's my belief that the world would be a much happier place if we accepted each others differences and learned to be less judgmental.
