Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Recently bought 400 pairs of socks to give away at a local backpack giveaway and tie dyed the socks with over 200 school kids in loving memory of my mom who passed 12/25/18.
Why are you participating?:

Because we need more love and compassion and community support to build our youth up as strong, productive members of our community to continue spreading love and tolerance in our world.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I volunteer for Pow Wow Worcester and Dress for Success Worcester. Volunteerism is so powerful - I get to help people in my community.
Why are you participating?:

Well, my labels have held me back from joining society. What I realized was it was more important to show up. Helping others have the courage to show up.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I'm a Mama Dragon. I love my transgender son. I started a GSA at the school I taught in. Fourteen years later, my son started one in his middle school.
Why are you participating?:

Many people think that people of faith are homophobic, transphobic, exclusive, hateful. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I support the lgbtqia+ community by helping fight for equality and teaching folks to live with an open heart.
Why are you participating?:

I believe everyone has the right to happily live life and love who they love. I am a proud Mom to two amazing young men and want them both to live in a world where acceptance is the norm. Spread love not hate and give hugs to anyone who needs one.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I am a strong advocate for people with disabilities. I hope one day inclusion will be the norm for society.
Why are you participating?:

To help society learn that everyone is valuable.

Vernice

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I have helped keep friends and family members from homelessness for over five years.
Why are you participating?:

I love the way this simple project breaks down barriers and shows how wonderfully awesome we all are in our own ways; And how we can spread our gifts for good.

Sadie

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I aim to take my talents and strengths and use them to make the world a better place for others, not to glorify myself. Day to day, I listen to and watch out for other people, and I do my best to help them with what they need. I can be a light in a dark world-- everyone can. No matter what, I believe we can always love, listen, and be kind.
Why are you participating?:

I'm involved in a theatre piece based on this project, and I hope it and all of this will put some more good out into the world!
