Why are you participating?: 

I believe everyone has the right to happily live life and love who they love. I am a proud Mom to two amazing young men and want them both to live in a world where acceptance is the norm. Spread love not hate and give hugs to anyone who needs one.

I'm a Mama Dragon. I love my transgender son. I started a GSA at the school I taught in. Fourteen years later, my son started one in his middle school.
Why are you participating?: 

Many people think that people of faith are homophobic, transphobic, exclusive, hateful. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I aim to take my talents and strengths and use them to make the world a better place for others, not to glorify myself. Day to day, I listen to and watch out for other people, and I do my best to help them with what they need. I can be a light in a dark world-- everyone can. No matter what, I believe we can always love, listen, and be kind.
