Tell Us Your Good Deed:
My husband and I are Foster Parents. We provide a safe, stable, happy home for those children who may not be as fortunate and in the process teach our own children to be tolerate and the benefits of giving back.
Why are you participating?:

It's a good cause and I like what it stands for. I've been judged wrongly because I'm shy, because I choose to have tattoos, because I was young when I had my boys. It's no fun to be judged on outwards appearances.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I like to spread optimism, good humor, & positivity to anyone I meet.
Why are you participating?:

It just feels right for me...as I always like to Monkey-around (...in a No Evil way). AND, more importantly, I may help someone, somehow.

Ray

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Taught photography workshops at the Boys and Girls club. The kids are thrilled to learn fun things to do with a camera.
Why are you participating?:

I'm all about Photography and this is a cool Photography project.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I co-lead a Girl Scout troop for a group based in Princeton, MA.
Why are you participating?:

The Worcester Commission on Disability met Troy at our one of our recent meetings. It was so nice to hear about a way that the community can come together -- and work to help dispel stereotypes.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I translated for a woman in the hospital while I was waiting for my mom who was in surgery at the time. I got her the help she needed and held her hand until she fell asleep.
Why are you participating?:

Because there is so much good in the world despite all the bad things that happen. I have hope for the good things in life.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I came across a broken down car on 190 and a man walking with his dog. I stopped and offered them a ride. He asked to go to the next exit and commented he did not have a cell phone. I loaned him my phone so he could call family for help. He offered me money, I said no, when it was safe to help someone else out, do so. He promised he would, we both won!
Why are you participating?:

To add to the variety... it is the spice of life.
