Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I smile at everyone, even if I don't like the or know they don't like me. I know when I walk away either they are smiling too or just puzzled to why I smiled at them in the first place.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I take every opportunity possible to visit my grandmother. I want her to always know that somebody loves her and cares about her.

To help!

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Observe. Discern. Discuss.
Why are you participating?:

Labels limit the range of our conception to 'that which has existed', and therefore can restrict evolution of or within a system. Labels ascribed to individuals promote objectification, which can lead to possession, which can to slavery.

Annie

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
While living in Haiti, I sent meals to an elderly neighbor who was starving and I knew would not receive food otherwise. When such a huge need is set before you, the only thing you can do is respond in kindness. In this country, the needs are still there, they are just sometimes harder to seek out.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I've helped a couple of my friends through rough times by sitting with them and having deep conversations about our problems, showing them they can trust me to talk about their personal grievances and vent their stresses.
Why are you participating?:

It seems like a good cause and I wanted to contribute my own face and experiences to it.

Emma

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
i help my mom and dad by baby sitting my little brother when they work
Why are you participating?:

I am participating because i would like to show people how kind i can be and determined to help and follow my dreams

Nygel

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I helped organize a competitive, community-oriented creative-writing/performance poetry group in Tunkhannock, PA called The Breaking Ground Poets. We offer workshops and hold open mics, and host local competitions. We also invite published performance poets to visit and perform, and we attended Brave New Voices in August.
Why are you participating?:

Because I believe in the potential of every person to do great things and rise above their selfishness and circumstance. People are fucking beautiful.
