Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Since I have retired, I am starting to volunteer at various places in order to do things that I have not had time to do while pursuing my career. One place I volunteer is at a clothing ministry where clothing and other various household goods are given to the needy. More good deeds to follow now that I have the time to spend.
Why are you participating?:

As a volunteer at the Theater, one night the photographer was taking pictures and was asked if I would like to be part of this event - so I said yes and here I am.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I try to be a giving person... every day. Whether it's a gift, a donation, a smile or simply a kind word.
Why are you participating?:

I think it's a really cool project. People do good deeds every day... some small and some extraordinary. We hear about the extraordinary ones but never the small acts of kindness performed by everyday people.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Have volunteered as youth group advisor and Sunday school teacher for several years at First Unitarian Church.
Why are you participating?:

Because we are all unique individuals and should not be labeled based on surface characteristics.

I walked to support Children's Hospital, and try to donate to a variety of charities to help support those who are less fortunate.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I like to pass along smiles by taking photographs. I volunteer for the Hanover Theatre, with a professional organization - The BioCommunications Association and as a trustee for a condo association. I pick up trash along the trails when I'm geocaching (CITO - cache in trash out).
Why are you participating?:

There is good in everyone, don't stereotype, and smiles multiply... pass one along. Life is good!

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
As Co-Chair of the Worcester Women's Oral History Project I endeavor to build community by sharing experiences through women's stories.
Why are you participating?:

To support and foster meaningful bonds with the greater Worcester community.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I bring extra money to school for ice cream day and I give it to my friends who don't have any, so that they can buy a special treat too.
Why are you participating?:

The world will be a better place to live if everyone just stops fighting.
