Danielle

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I traveled to Costa Rica and worked to restore a school for abused children.
Why are you participating?:

I believe that it is never to late to change how people judge you. And, in all my decisions I ask myself if it is worth the regret of doing it or not doing it.

Elora

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I volunteer teach Yoga to children and adults who would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience this form of mindfulness.
Why are you participating?:

I believe that everyone is intrinsically good and that these qualities are not always visible at first impression. I love how this project shows another level of everyone that could be easily overlooked because of our own judgments.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I volunteer with LGBTQ youth at Safe Homes in Worcester. I love being an example to the kids that growing up doesn't have to mean conforming. I'm not sure that it qualifies as a good deed though. I think they have done more to help me than I have to help them. They remind me why I'm an activist and why the LGBTQ community needs people like myself.
Why are you participating?:

I truly believe that stereotypes are a detriment to our society. I am judged every singly day of my life and I know that most of those judgements are wrong.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Helped an elderly man change a flat tire on the side of the road the other day as others kept driving by. Work can wait.
Why are you participating?:

Great idea showed to me by friends. Very cool.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Everyday I try to make an effort to give everyone I meet all the patience and attention I have so they feel they are truly being listened to and cared for. I think one of the biggest mistakes in this life is rushing people, their thoughts, and not taking in the daily wonders that are the people around us. We can all learn from one another, we just have to listen. I write/perform poetry, volunteer, and work with the elderly :)
Why are you participating?:

To show people that we as humans agree with beliefs that may be alike, but may also be different. To show that we're all conflicted, just at different crossroads.
