Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I work on behalf of low-income at-risk children in the hope that they will enter kindergarten ready to learn and succeed.
Why are you participating?:

The concept is so simple yet so incredibly powerful who wouldn't participate?

Katie

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I founded an annual free softball clinic for underprivileged girls of Worcester, MA. As an admission fee, we collect either canned goods or stuffed animals to donate to local shelters such as Why Me and Abby's House.
Why are you participating?:

Because not everyone is evil. :)

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I give my time to any person struggling with the economy nowadays I help with contracting, & donations of any kind I never turn a blind eye when anyone needs assistance, a helping goes a long way with anyone no matter who they are.
Why are you participating?:

It's shows as a positive project that everyone should at least peak some interest in the title say's it all & I like anything that will show a side of a person that they never even probably knew

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Sharing umbrellas with random people while walking on rainy days; holding doors for people with their hands full; generally going out of my way to be courteous.
Why are you participating?:

There's always opportunities to help others that require little or nothing from you; if more people realized that, we'd all be a lot better off. Stereotypes do nothing but hinder us all; I've lost track of how many times people have judged me due to my appearance.

Barry

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I rescued a ten-year-old dog from a shelter.
Why are you participating?:

I'm participating to work toward the elimination of stereotypes and to promote diversity.

Lisa

Saint Paul, MN

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Twice a year for at least 10 years, I have organized a drive at my job to collect women's career clothes. Donations go to Martha's Closet in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where they are available for women needing appropriate clothes for job interviews and for starting out in their new jobs. I feel good about facilitating the re-use of lots of good clothes, and about helping women who might need a good break for once.
Why are you participating?:

It's empowering for me to think about and acknowledge publicly the absurdity of stereotyping and labeling others. We're all different in many ways, but we're all the same in many more.
