Tell Us Your Good Deed:
This was posted on facebook by my daughter... My Mom My Hero. Almost immediately upon setting foot in NYC from across the street we saw a homeless man fall unconscious in the street. He hit the ground flat and appeared to have major trauma to the head. People barley glanced in his direction and cars passed by dangerously close. Of the many people that witnessed, my mom is the only one who stood by him so cars would not get too close and told him when he began to come to that help was on the way. Jillian called 911 and a cop appeared not too much after. I just wonder, if my family hadn't been there, how long he would have been there by himself, bleeding in the street and people just passing by as if he were invisible.
Why are you participating?:

People need each other...regardless of differences

I'm always doing something good, but I especially do good things for the community, like volunteering and contributing to events with my ROTC friends!
Why are you participating?:

Despite all things that North has encountered this past year, I'm participating in this "No Evil" project because I think it's time us North High students and faculty show everyone that the perception they have of us is wrong!

I love to work. I love being able to make people smile and to make their day just a little bit better. I live off the positive energy of others.
Why are you participating?:

Because I think this organization is outstanding!

I've been volunteering at a nursing home for the elderly. I love doing it, I mean getting to hang out with nice people. It's rewarding and fun, I've come to know some of them on a regular basis. I honestly believe that the residents are making me into a better person. I mean in a way they're shaping me into something great.
Why are you participating?:

It's nice to show people that the good outweigh the bad. I mean there's so much evil in the world making people lose hope. So by doing the No Evil Project, I feel like it's helping the world.

I smile every day In class to make my classmates and teacher see the positive side of life and I tell them that their smile is the best wrinkle they would ever have. I smile because with a smile you may light up somebody's world, so smile, make yours and someone else's life better
Why are you participating?:

To make other people in my class join also to show other people that even something as small as just taking pictures can light up someone's world to the max and may show them something positive of themselves and make them feel better.
