My Mom My Hero.
Almost immediately upon setting foot in NYC from across the street we saw a homeless man fall unconscious in the street. He hit the ground flat and appeared to have major trauma to the head. People barley glanced in his direction and cars passed by dangerously close. Of the many people that witnessed, my mom is the only one who stood by him so cars would not get too close and told him when he began to come to that help was on the way.
Jillian called 911 and a cop appeared not too much after. I just wonder, if my family hadn't been there, how long he would have been there by himself, bleeding in the street and people just passing by as if he were invisible.
People need each other...regardless of differences
