Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I'm passionate about social justice issues so I try to educate myself and others on fair trade, sustainability, and privilege. I served in the Peace Corps in Paraguay, South America from 2001-2003. I love to serve others and I am fortunate enough to continue service work in my current job. I volunteer every year to lead a service trip for students in and outside of the U.S.
Why are you participating?:

I am proud to be a Latina female Divorcee and I wear those labels without an apology. They have made me who I am today, but I know I am also more than that I encourage everyone to know their story and tell others their story. "I have decided to stick with love.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I rented a mini van and took my brother and his wife, my daughters and a friend down to Florida to surprise my mother for her 60th birthday...she told me that it was the best thing anyone could have done and she will remember it always.
Why are you participating?:

I think we as people need to take a step back and think about how we treat each other and this may be a tool to look at ourselves to see how good we are doing...help us get rid of the evil negativity in our life.
