Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I started a homeschool girl scout troop which allowed little girls from 5 to 10 get to know each other and do fun things together like collecting clothes for people in need and raising money to fight cancer.
Why are you participating?:

Because it is a very thoughtful exercise to think of a good deed and acknowledge that we all do things to help others without thinking about it.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I utilize my lived experience with mental illness to help make systemic change and advocate for other youth and young adults living with mental, emotional and behavioral health needs.
Why are you participating?:

The stigma surrounding mental health deters people from reaching out. I want to show people that they can live a happy, successful life beyond their diagnoses- they are not their mental illness!

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
In 2012 and 2013, my family ran a group for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night cancer walk to help find a cure as a result of my brother's leukemia diagnosis. We raised $13,000 in total.
Why are you participating?:

To help support the fact that anyone can do good things regardless of who you are and who you know

Todd

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I will help anyone, any time, day or night.
Why are you participating?:

This labeling was difficult but enjoyable. What an interesting way to get to know someone. There IS good in everyone!
