Tell Us Your Good Deed:

I try to set a good example for my kids. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. It is important for people to try to do their best, be acknowledged for giving it their best effort, and not be criticized if the end result isn't perfect. Everyone has different talents and interests. Right now I am not working as a software engineer, so I volunteer at my kids' schools. I love nature and art and participate in the schools' Art Literacy Projects. I also help struggling students with math. I am almost obsessive at recycling. I try not to purchase products in packaging that can't be recycled, and I go out of my way to recycle everything I can. I am proud of my children for sticking up for themselves and others, being kind to animals, and being aware of their impact on natural resources.

Why are you participating?:

I was visiting Worcester Art Museum and the photographer asked if I'd participate, so I said "yes." I think this is a fun and interesting way to make people aware of things they can do to make the world a better place.
