Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I founded the first national women's media analysis, media literacy education and media justice advocacy organization, and wrote the first book about how reality TV works as a backlash against gender and racial justice.
Why are you participating?:

Media narratives demonize feminists, social justice activists, and anti-racists as "fringe", "angry", "selfish", and "unpatriotic", among other stereotypes.

Sarah

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
President For Life of the I Talk to Anyone Club. Plus I work to make schools more equitable for everyone.
Why are you participating?:

I love the idea that were are all in this together. In spite of our differences, we still have two eyes, two ears, and a single mouth, which we can use for good...or evil.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Fighting for social justice and equality every day through interpersonal relations and bigger scenes of activism.
Why are you participating?:

I believe in a peaceful world. We must celebrate our differences and unite in order to attain that state of world.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I challenge those that use problematic language, which boxes others into stereotypes that they personally do not identify.
Why are you participating?:

I see this project as a place to share our identities, which we often do not get a chance to share with strangers. Using this platform, a mosaic of labels and faces challenges stereotypes and single story narratives.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Holding doors and smiling at strangers is my favorite thing to do throughout the day. I get stuck holding doors for long periods of time. I also work tirelessly to educate, understand, and share empathy, compassion with those around me
Why are you participating?:

Because I hear evil everywhere I go. Because I see evil everywhere I go. Because I need to speak against evil
