Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Every year since I was a baby I've been a part of the Christmas Giving Program run by Refugee Apostolate. I usually help label bags (last year the Bag Party was actually at my house) and then help collect, sort, and bag the gifts. I love doing it mostly because it's so fun, but when I see women with three kids and no coats waiting outside the door for their bags of gifts, I make sure that I put a winter jacket into every bag.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
When my grandmother who suffers from Alzheimer's was hospitalized for a broken hip, I spent several overnights sitting with her to make sure she didn't injure herself further because the hospital was under-staffed
Why are you participating?:

This project is terrific and I'm very happy to contribute to it! People are strange and unique and wonderful, and everyone should be celebrated for these differences not judged!

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I work in a group home for young adults with mental illness. I help them through times of suicidal urges, depression, and anxiety by being a counselor, mentor, teacher, and always offering my genuine compassion.
Why are you participating?:

To help everyone remind everyone that finding the good in others is often just as easy as taking a closer look...
