Indigenous Peoples Day Newton Photo Activity 2023

We will be at the Indigenous Peoples Day Ceremonial Celebration in in Newton, Massachusetts taking photographs for the project. The event celebrates and amplifies Indigenous peoples and voices. All are welcome to this free, family-friendly, day-long event with great music, performances, cultural presentations, local Indigenous vendors, and delicious food.

Indigenous participants will have the option of being part of a new series of exhibits which will be part of programming by Native Heritage New England around increasing visibility of present-day local tribes, and promoting awareness of history and traditions.
