Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I volunteered at a high school career fair to talk about varies medical fields. It is important to invest in the younger generation and guide them into fields that they have a passion for.
Why are you participating?:

I am participating to help break stereotypes and I like to help out others!

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I help animals whenever I can, and I try to remind myself that we're all just animals in need of help sometimes.
Why are you participating?:

It's really hard to point out good things we do, and I think this project helps us see the good in ourselves as well as in others.

John

South Grafton, MA
Estados Unidos
Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I sat and talked to a Vietnam vet. He said it lifted some of his PTSD. I was just being friendly. That's all I can take credit for.
Why are you participating?:

My usual label is Big John: mostly because I am 6'5". I has no meaning beyond my physical appearance. My appearance now is becoming old. I am 74. I hope I can do better. My friends seem to forget that I am old, but I wonder if it may affect them some day.

Karina

Minneapolis, MN

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I feel compassionate towards other people I don't even know and it helps me realize that we all carry our own cross, we all battle with our own demons and we are essentially all flawed human beings. There isn't a specific thing, but the build up of little things that I believe makes me a compassionate person. I learn to show empathy and keep in mind that sometimes, people do things out of anger, people mess up. There is already enough suffering in the world and showing someone just a little bit of love and compassion can go a long way.

Elian

Fitchburg, MA
United States
Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I always help people feel better and try to help anyway I can.
Why are you participating?:

I think it’s a really good idea. It’s powerful and brings people together.

Krystle

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I was shopping at my local grocery store when I noticed a mom that was trying to pick up a canister of formula from the bottom shelf. She couldn't quite make it because she was wearing her infant on her chest. I offered to reach down and grab it for her. She was teary eyed and thankful. She let me know that she doesn't have any help until her husband comes home later. I told her I was just happy to lend a hand.
Why are you participating?:

I want the world to know that queer people of color exist, and we have the capacity to love and help just like everyone else in the world.
