Charlene

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I am a volunteer facilitator for Rainbows here in Ireland. Rainbows is a free, voluntary service for children and young people experiencing loss following bereavement and parental separation. The Rainbows service is an inclusive service, supporting children and young people experiencing grief and loss resulting from bereavement/parental separation/parental relationship breakdown /divorce. Attending the programme provides children with an opportunity to meet with other children of a similar age and loss experience.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
My little cousin is clinically depressed due to a loss of a close family member. I would like to say that I've helped her through the process and put a smile on her face occasionally. I love my family and will do anything for them.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I work with autistic children through art and dance in order for them to find better ways to express themselves to the world. I love putting a smile on their faces and watching them do something they love.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I love to share smiles and compliments every day to family members, friends and complete strangers. I glow with joy and excitement when I am able to make someone else's day.
Why are you participating?:

We can all contribute to making the world a better place with small actions. This project is an incredible opportunity to remind humanity that what makes up a person is their story, beliefs, thoughts and feelings not their appearance.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I work at a non profit organization with girls, working with them to be strong and bold.
Why are you participating?:

I think that as a woman, I need to work on being louder and advocating for myself. By helping other young women to do the same, I am doing my part for today's and future society.
