Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I try to go out of my way to show people how I feel about them. I send little gifts just to let them know they are in my thoughts.
Why are you participating?:

I wish people were willing to accept differences and realize we have to all be here together. Why not make it a better place?

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I am a security officer in a large office. When the fire alarm sounded I carried a co workers dog outside. Ham is a rescued dog who my excellent friend Pat adopted. She is horrified by people because she was previously abused. Pat had stepped out of the office briefly before the alarm sounded. I took a last look around the office before leaving myself and found another co worker struggling to lead Ham off her bed by a leash. I leaned over and reassured Ham that all would be ok and picked her up into my arms. She seemed glad to be hugged, but peed on me anyway. The alarm was very loud and there were a lot of people, neither made Ham happy. I carried her down two flights of stairs and out into the street. We then moved away to a park, far from the crowds and sound of the alarm. We had some alone time and bonded while awaiting her reunion with Pat. The alarm turned out to be false and Ham is gradually regaining trust of humans.
Why are you participating?:

To take a look at my happy self and discover what I can and can't change in order to increase happiness even further. Help others see that they can
choose which things they SEE, HEAR and SAY in a way that increases happiness.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Every day I try to approach the world with a loving heart. My first impulse is to do or say something to ease the suffering of people or animals I encounter on The Path. If we approached the planet in this way, and approached all life forms in this way, all of us would lead happier and more balanced lives, and feel enriched by our surroundings rather than deprived. I'm not saying that I am always some kind of saintly freak... I have days where I get upset and frustrated, especially with people who have no respect for Life or Truth. And I can be a real brat, even at my age, but my intentions are good. Being sensitive to the world in general can become overwhelming. But something in me compels me to continue giving people the benefit of the doubt, and to continue giving all I can to help people and animals in need. I support the Earth as part of the Cosmos, and I know a healthy and vibrant planet with healthy and vibrant citizens puts a positive spin on everything that moves through the Universe.
Why are you participating?:

I am a former visual artist who has also participated in performance art, and there are obvious ties between positive interactive art forms as this and promoting peace and understanding in the world. Let's get to know one another.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
From track to basketball to even the classroom I always push others and myself to do better than they once believed, motivate them to push past their limits even when they believe they can't do it.
Why are you participating?:

The same reason why Gandhi took a stand. The same reason why Martin Luther King Jr. took a stand. I want to try to do what I can do to show to people that no matter your background, we're all the same and that we can change for the better.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
One day, on the WRTA, the ticket system was down and so the driver had to fidget with it to get certain passes out. A man needed an all day pass and the driver was still trying to get it to print when the man got up to get off the bus. Instead of holding up the bus, I gave the man my all day pass. The man and driver both expressed their thanks and the man left. Before I got off the bus, the driver gave me the all day pass that would've been the strangers to replace the one that I had given him and also gave me 4 single ride passes. While waiting at the bus station for another bus I decided that I would use those 4 passes to pay for other peoples bus fare that day. When I got on my bus I told the bus driver that the next 4 people in line had rides on me and put in my single ride passes.
Why are you participating?:

I am participating in this cause because I believe that seeing, hearing and speaking of only good things can have a positive impact on the community and will over time, lessen the evil around us.
