Whenever I’m present during a conflict I try to mediate and help each side understand the others so they can reach a peaceful resolution.
Why are you participating?:
I believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every person. I’ve always believed that though people sometimes do terrible things and hurt one another there are no evil people, only evil acts. My heroes are people who believe and promote this truth. Anne Frank wrote in her diary while hiding from the Nazis she knew they might eventually kill her and her family, “In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart.”
