On the day I took these photos I was volunteering as an activist: asking for support in protecting trans folks' right to access public spaces.

Why are you participating?:
Well... a friend, or just another human being you've never met asks you to participate in something. It doesn't take too much effort, but it's important to them, and perhaps it'll effect some positive change.
I think we get choices like this every day about whether or not we're going to go a little out of our way to help others.
It's not always possible... sometimes it's more than we can handle, but I personally like the version of me who goes out of her way to help others more than the version of me who doesn't.
