Tell Us Your Good Deed:

Every day I help youth to believe in themselves and their capacity for a higher education. I have great relationships with "my kids" because I treat every single one with love and respect.

Why are you participating?:

We live in a society where people are judged, stereotyped, and placed in boxes. It is too easy to look at a person and make a snap judgement about who they are and what they've done based on a single aspect of their appearance, demeanor, accent, etc. These preconceived notions are harmful to the way we see ourselves and the way we treat others. I love this project because it is about busting stereotypes and shedding light on the humanity in everyone.
