Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I took the time to talk to someone who really needed it.
Why are you participating?:

I am participating because the world now sees so much evil, hears so much evil and speaks so much evil.
I want to be part of the change.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I have volunteered at a local animal shelter as well as provided assistance and information to local public about rescuing pets and finding forever homes for the many amazing loving animals that are homeless. The most recent deed was helping a turtle cross the road so it didn't get squished!
Why are you participating?:

I think this is a fantastic project that allows us to break through and show our humanity. There aren't enough labels to define us since we are each unique and special in our own way. Each one of us has the ability to compassionately reach out and do something good.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I participate on the board of the New England Educational Opportunity Association, working alongside educators and policy makers to advocate for access to and success in postsecondary education for low-income, first generation college students. It is of special importance to me to help ensure opportunities for success for all who seek it, regardless of roadblocks set in the way.
Why are you participating?:

I have faith that deep down, people are good. This project celebrates that idea :)

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I guess my good deed that shines above all was being a foster parent for over 9 years. I helped raise, mold and redirect young lives between the ages of 9 to 18. It is an experience I certainly will not forget.
Why are you participating?:

I teach salsa dancing and people of all races, creeds and colors walk through my door with the same goal..so I believe that despite our diversity, our differences , we all want the same things out of life....to live happily.
