Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Everyday I try to make an effort to give everyone I meet all the patience and attention I have so they feel they are truly being listened to and cared for. I think one of the biggest mistakes in this life is rushing people, their thoughts, and not taking in the daily wonders that are the people around us. We can all learn from one another, we just have to listen. I write/perform poetry, volunteer, and work with the elderly :)
Why are you participating?:

To show people that we as humans agree with beliefs that may be alike, but may also be different. To show that we're all conflicted, just at different crossroads.

I tip generously, even when the server seems upset or distracted. It might brighten their day/night and make the next customers experience better than mine.
Why are you participating?:

I love comedy, and I think that labels are a good way to get people laughing. I have a hard time taking labels seriously because I think that the way people see each-other is amusing, not insulting. Also I thought maybe I could meet some cool chicks this way!

Taught Argentine tango to new students at Purdue University :)
Why are you participating?:

I love the idea of this project. So many people place labels and judge others from the outside without knowing anything about them and it can be unfair. I like that this site is making a movement to prove simultaneously that everyone is unique and yet all the same :)

Last spring I traveled to Utila, Honduras to volunteer at an endangered iguana breeding facility. I was only there for a week but it changed my life for the better. It made me realize we are all connected and that we need to keep this world a great place for us and for future generations to come.
