As a Jew, I take the concept of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) seriously. My Hebrew name is Nechama, which means comfort. I like making teddies for children in homeless shelters and blankies for kids in the hospital. Or any other way I might discover to help.
Why are you participating?: 

I'm participating because "you can't judge a book by it's cover". You can't size up a person on sight. You have to spend time with them, find out where their soul or spirit or inner light is.

i volunteer on Saturday Mornings to help high school students with standardized tests. Also I held myself back from contributing to questionable comments made on social media
