Eliana

Worcester, MA

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
It's so hard to find a purely good deed but here are a couple of non-profit organizations/causes that I have volunteered in: Horizons for Homeless Children, 1 TOUCH self-defense for the blind, Project Homecoming restoration program in New Orleans
Why are you participating?:

Because it's a cool idea, it brings out stereotypes that we should be made aware of, and it's fun!

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I volunteered at a nursing home to dye Easter eggs with some of the residents to entertain and cheer them up for a little while.
Why are you participating?:

Because if I never actually got to know my roommate and instead let my stereotypes continue to be what I thought of her, I never would have met one of my absolute best friends.

Stefan

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I've participated in a challenge called Boxygen to raise money for the MASS Military Hero Fund... I won! They raised over $4,000. It was at Nonantum Boxing Club in Newton, MA

Jamie

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I do hospice volunteer work.
Why are you participating?:

Because I'm full of contradictory labels and identifications that just don't mean much in the end.
