Tell Us Your Good Deed:
A couple years ago I was at Panera eating lunch with my friends. I had gotten a salad but only ate a few bites of it and really wasn't hungry anymore. I noticed that there was a homeless woman begging for money right outside the window where we were sitting. It was the middle of winter and freezing cold outside. I went out and gave her my salad. She was incredibly gracious and I felt so happy to have helped her even in just a small way.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I frequently pay for the person behind me in the Dunkin' Donuts line. I hope that will encourage them to do something nice for someone else. I recently started reading a series of books that was started in the 1980s, and because I cannot get them from any libraries in my state, I'm purchasing them used, reading them, and then donating them to my local library to make them available to others.
Why are you participating?:

To show that ordinary people can make a difference doing ordinary things.
