Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I spent 13 years in Girl Scouts so I've always been a volunteer and I've had my share of experiences, but my most recent would be the InterVarsity ServeUp trip in New Orleans, LA. A group of students went down there for a week to volunteer in rebuilding the community and hearing stories of those affected by Hurricane Katrina. I feel as though those people helped me more.
Why are you participating?:

Because labels don't define a person. It just makes it easier for other people to "understand" if you're known by a label. I am me and my labels will not stop me from helping others or pursuing my dream of becoming a doctor.
