Being someone's rock
Why are you participating?:

We are all more alike than not. We need to see our similarities and respect our differences.

Gisi

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I've helped translate for people of the Latino community when they don't speak English, so they are able to understand a process, a form, or any questions they might be getting from others.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I volunteered to be a secret sister during my husbands deployment. Along with little gifts I like to send a card with a handwritten encouragement note and an inspirational quote.
Why are you participating?:

I have been "labeled" more times than I can possibly count. From family to people on the street-they see me as a degenerate due to my tattoos. They call me "lazy" because I work from home pursing my dreams of writing a novel. I am more than what they name me.

Abigail

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Each week I make it a point to reach out to a friend or family member to check in, say hi, and see if I support them in any way. I was surprised how much of an impact it made the first few times I did this, and now it's part of my routine and makes me feel good too.
Why are you participating?:

Everyone deserves to be treated with love and respect.
