I've volunteered at a non-profit organization for gay youth here in Worcester, and I've also been a part of opening several LGBT events throughout Massachusetts and surrounding areas.
Why are you participating?: 

Our war for tolerance will never be completely done but I just hope to make it somewhat better by being an active part of the LGBT community.

I'm participating in a year of service next year after I graduate college and I am excited to breakdown the stigma of mental illness in our society and show the world that we do not need to be defined by the psychiatric disorders that label us :)

Because I believe it is wrong to judge other base on their race age etc
