I try to do a little something everyday and look for chances to do so, I feel it is the proper human thing to do; leave a quarter in the carriage for the next person at the supermarket so they do not have to scramble for a quarter, pick up trash and dispose of properly, donate when at the market, hold doors open, smile, etc.. I also volunteer with an opioid task force.

I spent 3 years as a Resident Assistant at my school. Creating a supportive network was the best experience. My transition into college was somewhat difficult and I wanted to be there for others who were having a hard time too!

While living in Haiti, I sent meals to an elderly neighbor who was starving and I knew would not receive food otherwise. When such a huge need is set before you, the only thing you can do is respond in kindness. In this country, the needs are still there, they are just sometimes harder to seek out.
