Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I do my best to lead by example on a daily basis and practice patience, compassion and optimism. I have recently accepted a resident assistant position and am excited to motivate underclassmen to be the best students and community members that they possibly can and help them along the way!
Why are you participating?:

I think this is a simple way that a large group of people can come together to show that people are not just what you see on the outside. Everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle so be kind, get to know a stranger and learn what they are really about!

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I participated with my family at my church to feed homeless families, and I am planning to join an organization that plans Birthday parties for unprivileged kids. I love doing it a lot.
Why are you participating?:

Because I think it is a neat thing to do...and see all the things that people describe or label themselves as it make everyone see how one of a kind they are.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Sharing umbrellas with random people while walking on rainy days; holding doors for people with their hands full; generally going out of my way to be courteous.
Why are you participating?:

There's always opportunities to help others that require little or nothing from you; if more people realized that, we'd all be a lot better off. Stereotypes do nothing but hinder us all; I've lost track of how many times people have judged me due to my appearance.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I volunteered to help build a house in Dorchester for Habitat for Humanity.
Why are you participating?:

Thought the project was a cool idea, especially since so many people are judged merely by their looks.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I wrote a series of personal blog posts about my struggles with panic, anxiety, and depression in order to help others with the same issues.
Why are you participating?:

Because every now and then I need to see something to regain my faith in humanity, and I'm sure others do too.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I volunteer indexing historical documents for FamilySearch.org. It is a non-profit organization that provides free, searchable indexes of various records from around the world (birth certificates, census data, war records, etc.) that people can use when researching their family history online.
Why are you participating?:

I am participating because I think my Cousin has come up with yet another brilliant idea! It's a nice change to focus on the positive.
