Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I pay attention to the little stories that people tell about themselves and that often do not get heard or acknowledged by others. In my experience that is a form of validation some people really yearn for.
Why are you participating?:

I have lived long enough to see many of the presumptions, stereotypes, and predispositions of the world I was born into change in a way that provides for more opportunity and inclusion for people who were otherwise denied.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Raised a son to respect women and raised a daughter to be independent and strong.
Why are you participating?:

Interesting project - makes one think that what label you choose can define you in others eyes, but choose a different label and you can get different reactions.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Rescued a cat that belonged to an elderly woman who was going into a nursing home. Added a wheelchair ramp to our home so said elderly woman could come to our home and visit her cat.
Why are you participating?:

Because my friend AJ is involved and I'd do anything to help him save the world!
