Tell Us Your Good Deed:
One good deed I was able to take part in was to feed the less fortunate. On a cold thanksgiving day, my children and I volunteered for a program and we delivered thanksgiving dinner to elders and families in need.
Why are you participating?:

There is a verse in the bible that says, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21). I truly believe in this. I believe that everyone is capable of doing "good" things. Practicing and living a life of good deeds is a choice you make.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
This was posted on facebook by my daughter... My Mom My Hero. Almost immediately upon setting foot in NYC from across the street we saw a homeless man fall unconscious in the street. He hit the ground flat and appeared to have major trauma to the head. People barley glanced in his direction and cars passed by dangerously close. Of the many people that witnessed, my mom is the only one who stood by him so cars would not get too close and told him when he began to come to that help was on the way. Jillian called 911 and a cop appeared not too much after. I just wonder, if my family hadn't been there, how long he would have been there by himself, bleeding in the street and people just passing by as if he were invisible.
Why are you participating?:

People need each other...regardless of differences

I always feed stray cats; I even carry water and cat food in my car to help the cats in need and bring them to a shelter if need be.
Why are you participating?:

My professor suggested I attend.
