Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Just about everything I do is about family and children. As a Grandfather and Photographer, I have seen the struggles of others and try to donate all the time I can to organizations such as "Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep" and the "March of Dimes". The best reward is to see the smiles and feel the emotions of the families I have come to know and help along the way.
Why are you participating?:

I do not like to advertise everything I do to help others. The smiles and positive emotions that have resulted are the best rewards. However, the world can be a difficult place at times and needs a place to turn to.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I donated to breast cancer research
Why are you participating?:

People need to see positive things in this not so positive time. If I can put a smile on at least one persons face today, my day is complete :)

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I have been volunteering at a local nursing home for years. I enjoy getting the opportunity to listen to their stories and I get satisfaction out of knowing that I can help. Having a visitor makes their day and I love being able to just make them feel appreciated.
Why are you participating?:

We all know how it is to feel different. Rather than making it a bad thing, we should appreciate one another's differences and realize how important diversity is. We are all labeled, but it is up to us to make others feel accepted.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
Supporting my students' request to bring Rachel's Challenge to my high school made a significant change in the culture of the school. Every month, "random acts of kindness" filled the school and created an atmosphere of respect and support. Listening to the voices of my students resulted in many good deeds and brought about positive change for an entire school community.
Why are you participating?:

Respect and acceptance of all individuals makes our family, community and country the great place it is today. Supporting this initiative should be a priority for all citizens.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I try to be kind because we are all struggling in some way. I am beginning to practice Yoga and in doing so will project positive energy to those around me. I volunteer for Earth Day cleanups in my city. I use the least toxic products so I can do my part to keep this world clean and safe.
Why are you participating?:

If we could all be more open minded and kind to each other, it could change our country and our world.
