Tell Us Your Good Deed:
My good deed has to be when I did my Eagle Scout Project my senior year. My project consisted of helping the veterans from the Chelsea Soldiers Home and make them toiletry bags/ collect items such as clothes, movies, towels and socks. I set up boxes in many local churches and banks and received helping hands. My team and I made a store like front for the vets and then went to the alzheimer's wing and delivered bags personally. It was great to give back!
Why are you participating?:

I am participating because my boss told me about this project and I thought it was a great idea. A great way to make people heard. Also I helped organize an no evil event at my college "Nichols College". It was a total success!

I volunteer for various community service events such as special olympics and habitat for hummanity.
Why are you participating?:

Label yourself. Don't listen to the ones given by others. Be who you want to be.

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
In the summers, I volunteer my time at a local school to help special needs children get further in their education. By doing this, not only am I helping them, I am helping myself to become a better person in society, and it means a lot to me. I also volunteer wherever I can because it makes me feel happy knowing I'm helping others
Why are you participating?:

Evil is an unnecessary aspect of society. By participating in events, such as the No Evil Project, I am standing against anything evil and the outcomes it hopes to achieve.

Stan

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
My fraternity hosted an event called Hall Wars and this past fall we raised $10,600 for AIDS Project New Haven.
Why are you participating?:

I'm participating because I believe diversity intertwines each student at Quinnipiac University to form stronger bonds with each and every individual. We must promote diversity and accept each person for who they are

Tell Us Your Good Deed:
I love to help my family especially my little sister. She is deaf-blind. I like to help people. My fondest memory is helping another little boy learn to climb up the slides at the playground. I held his hand and told him where to put his feet. When he got to the top all the parents at the playground cheered. I was so happy that I could help him.
Why are you participating?:

My mom says that this is a good way to help people and my sister. My sister is 5. She is deaf-blind and she can't walk yet. Sometimes people look at her funny. Mom says that is because they don't know her and are afraid of what they don't know. I think that is silly.
